This game is the one time Big spenders of Blackburn Rovers, you all remember when they got promoted spent loads won the league then promptly got relegated soon after versus the New Money, and boy have they spent it Manchester City.

Big Sam’s teams are always well organised and it will take Mark Hughes team time to Gel

O’neill thinks City can win the title

Posted by Jarv on July 29, 2009

Really? yes they have spent a lot of money but it takes more than money to win the league, Mark Hughes has to keep a lot of players happy and get them to gel. I expect them to do well and Arsenal fans must be bricking themselves at the prospect of heading for the Europa League next time around but Champions…Really?

Don’t get me wrong next season if they continue to strengthen they wont be far away but as it currently stands i will be very surprised if they finish any higher than 4th.

Martin O’Neill should be spending time worrying about his own fortunes as they badly fell away last season and as i see it are a weaker side this season without Garth Barry and no Martin Laursen, add to that Everton who will be up there again and (can’t believe i’m going to say this but) Spurs who have strengthened and will be much better organised at the beginning of this year than the beginning of last year, well they can hardly be worse
